Hello guys!
This activity was developed to students of Fes Zaragoza of 10 level.
1. Look at the video.
2. Choose one of the five myteries mentioned in the video, then give your point of view answering the next questions. (use as minimal 70 words)

A) I choose the first one because I had never heard about it but It´s interesting because It´s releated with something about archaeological things and I like it.
ReplyDeleteB) It´s concidered as a mystery because the people who discovered the place thought that the complex of pyramids was build by giants but they didn't have the enough clues in order to comprobe it.
C) I think that the part of the pyramid can be a good clue because the researchers tell us that the measures of the pyramid, which are 80 meter high and 80 meters wide. They said that it´s so high to be considered a natural formation.
D) I don´t know if the Teotihuacan pyramids are considered a mystery but is the nearest story that I can imagine releated with the mystery that I choosed before.
I like the way that the topic was developed is a easiest way.

Deletea) I had never heard of any monkey-like creature that existed in the world, so I choose the number 5, it is also very interesting to investigate about these primitive animals to know their way of life, origin and feeding.
ReplyDeleteb)Because in 1925 some men disappeared in an expedition to discover that their theory of the lost city and these creatures are very similar to monkeys
c) It is complicated, but there may be a new expedition without using weapons to South America to find the place where they live.
d) I think that of the werewolf, because the characteristics of the creatures described are similar.

DeleteA) The mystery five is more interesting for me because I had never heard about it, but It´s interesting because is very old and is similar to other legends in other parts of world.
ReplyDeleteB) It´s considered as a mystery because people can´t explain what was the creature and for why lived alone in the jungle and because he had those physical characteristics.
C) In the past the persons can´t resolve this mystery, but in the actuality is more common explain that this person was a person whit physical problems and for this reason maybe he lived alone but we will never know the truth.
D) Other mysteries similar are the Yeti and Big Foot because there are not many clues except that are big “persons” that live alone in the forest or the mountain whit characteristic similar that animals, but are a mysteries and exist different explications for this.

ReplyDeletea) I never have heard about mistery number four " curved trees". for me is interesting it because the shape of trunk of the trees are very stranger. This mystery called my attention because to see a forest with trees like these will be wonderful, for me.
b)it´s considered a mystery because the people don´t know which the reason. there are three teories about it. the first say trees were planted and when the trees were seven to ten years old they were damaged for a experience whatever. the second theory say a heavy snow could have flattened the trees for along period and together to other weather factors contributed to the trees´s curvature. the last theory say the shape of trees were man-made, this happened around 1930s when local farmers planted and manipulated and they used them as a construction material.
c) today, only there are theories about this fenomen.
d). in Spain there is a place called " Las Sabinas del Hierro" here there are trees curved trees, but in this case the phenomenon is caused by strong winds.

ReplyDeletea) I had heard about the Okijahara forest in Japan, are insteresting all mysteries in the video are so I had never heard of them except the forest in Japan.
ReplyDeleteNevertheless I like abut the craeture as monkey.
b)I consider that is a mystery because I think does not can exist a creature primitive as a man monkey nowdays,these theory was thousand of years ago,in the video mention that the event was in 1940,so only is a mystery.
c)In the video mention about a man was an expedition but really there not a lot of information,I think is a especulate.
d)Other mistery similar about the man-monkey is the man that live in the mountains,He hides in the trees.

DeleteA) I chose the hoia forest, because it's a place that I never heard before, even if it has a lot of legends and mysteries, it was unknown for me, probably because of the place and the country is very far away and the notices get here very slow.
ReplyDeleteB) It's considered a mysteri because in that place strange things happen for examphe paranormal activity or you could see UFO when you are there. I think that it happens because of the characteristics of the forest, it has fog, the trees are very tall and spookies.
C) Maybe a clue that we have are the picturies that the people taked when thw UFO's sighting was happening.
D) A mistery that I consider that it's very similar to this one, is the forest of suicide, because we don't know what are happening at the forest in general, but these forest are very lonely and strange. Probably one thing that affect is the energy that the forest has, for example, the suicide forest maybe has a very negative energy and for that thing the people use that forest for take their lifes away. something similar happens there in Hoia forest, and for that reason we have a lot of paranormal activity.

ReplyDeleteA)I'd like to talk about HOIA FOREST mystery, it took my attention becauses of its interesting information. I had never heard about it; Nevertheless it's very amazing the things that can be happen there, furthermore if someone could have crossed through the forest and watched a UFO or any strange thing and also survived, it could have been the best and stange experience in anybody life.
I supossed it scared to him/her.
B)This forest must have discovered by anybody. I'd like to know who was.
C) In the video says that a clue could be real is that local farmers planted and manipulated the trees using construction materials happened around 1930's.
D) Maybe other weather factors contributed to the trees´s curvature, as the heavy snow weather.

Deletea. I choosed the fourth one. I never heard about it, neither some similar. It called my attention because that trees have an exclusive form, obsviusly strange. After I watched the video, I stayed a few minutes thinking about the theories that explain the shape of the trees, I think the fact that it was made by humans is the most coherent theory about that mystery, but I don't convinced about if it is the true.
ReplyDeleteb. Is considered a mystery because about four hundred of pines in a Polonian forest have a strange formation near to the ground, similiar to an Oz tool. It has at least three diferent theories that try to explain it, but the true is nobody could explain with totaly conviction (It's obvious, because if it could explain with conviction, the trees won't be more a mystery).
c. No, it doesn't have a clue that helps to explain it, it only have supositions about what happend with the trees.
d. I thought in another similar mystery, but i can't get one, I supossed that all around the world are trees with diferent shapes, even in my neighborhood is a little tree that has a ballet dancer shape. Maybe it is another mystery that nobody could explain.

ReplyDeleteI liked the curve trees because they look rare and differents, I think that is facinating how can there be these places in diffetents parts of the world.It is creazy!!
b)maybe, the people consider a mystery when is difficult give a explanation about it, so , the people consider other posibilities for explain it, sometimes belive in things supernatural.
c)I think with more investigation or using more tecnology.
d)In Mexico could be the sun calendary or the pyramids.

ReplyDelete2.- The truth I hadn’t heard about of any these mysteries but I consider that are very interesting and very creepy.
a) For the most interesting mysterie is the number 5 because it’s amazing to think in a City of Giants, and the structure that was found is awesome. Furthermore the structure is made of regular blocks like concret and size tools were found in a kind of “taller”. For me the speculation about the Giants could have existed it’s fantastic.
b) this kind of situations are considered like mysteries because may never be solved and don’t have an defínete and logical explanation.
c) in the video can hear the logical explanation for each mysterie. But particularly in the number 5. I heard that had an expedition for the government where the researchers tríed to find the lost city of the Giants, and they considereted that the place could be a natural formation.
d) For me for me the closest to this mystery is a place named “Piedras Encimadas” in Puebla where there is a legend that says that the Stones are Evil Giants that were punished by a pre-Hispanic god who turned them into Stone.

a.Have you ever heard about it? Why is it called your attention?
Yes, I have heard about it. Called me attention because I remembered that Japanese people go to the forest to suicide or abandoned any old or sick familiar.
b.Why is it considered as a mystery?
Because in this place appears souls and entities of people that suicide or were abandoned, besides there are several mysteries about UFO. Also people believe that if you enter in the forest you can found a portal and never come back, even remembered events about your live past.
c.Is there any kind of clue to solve it?
People that live near from Aokigahara Suicide Forest have different evidences about aliens and sightings of strange lights, maybe this is the close clue to solve it.
d.What mystery story is closed to this one?
I don’t know.

ReplyDeleteA)I had already heard about Aokigahara Suicide Forest. I saw an interesting movie about it, a couple of years ago. The sad story was about a poor family, the oldest person was the grandma who decided to go to the forest in the mountain to commit suicide.
B)The mystery according with the video is the spirits and souls of dead people, ghosts and strange sounds,demon stories,etc.
C)the video doesn´t show a clue to solve this mystery, but in my opinion, the courage of the oldest people to decide to die was taken like an important decision to preserve the life of their families because of the lack of food.
D)Several cultures have taken similar habits like this, for example,Mayan, Aztecs, made human sacrifices to ask for gods and harvests.
